BLACK AND WHITE BALL
The Party Collection is inspired by epic ragers throughout history. The chosen parties range in time period, culture, intention, but they share the desire to let go and escape into an elevated intoxicated rapturous fantasy.
This statement necklace draws from Truman Capote's Black and White Masquerade Ball of 1966 at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. In honor of publisher Katharine Graham, the party was based off My Fair Lady's Ascot race scene and was a celebration of Capote's personal achievements in wealth, status and literature.
